Same polish, different angle of light. |
We were out on a family shopping excursion to the other side of the island and I found these rings. It may not seem like a big deal to average sized people. My ring fingers are a size 14 and my thumbs around 15. When I found rings that fit, I was shocked. I didn't even care what they were made of. I used to have a simple gold band that I wore as a thumb ring. It was stolen out of my truck. It is nice to actually have some jewelry again. It sounds silly now, but when I started wearing polish I stopped wearing any of my earrings. I figured if I wore polish and earrings people would think I was trying to dress like a women. Now that I am comfortable with wearing polish all the time, I thought I would start wearing a thumb ring again. At least the new one doesn't have the same baggage as the one that was stolen. My gold one was a match to the one my ex-wife had. They were bought on our anniversary one year. As for the earrings, I am terrible about losing them. Back in the eighties my left ear had 3 lower piercings and one up high through the cartilage. My right ear had one. Over the years most of them have closed up. I think lowest left one is still open and the right one is easy enough to poke through.
I have to balance what I like with how I am perceived. The problem is that the balance changes with my moods! The good part is I am not going to stagnate. As much as people want you to stay the same forever, I think evolving and growing is more interesting.
You are awesome. Also, what is the second polish?
ReplyDeleteThank you Crystal, the second polish is Ninja Polish 100% Columbian. I am going to add a picture that shows the color shift of this duo-chrome.

ReplyDeleteAlso your nails are getting geet long - they look really good! Are you still wearing the same ones? x
