I should have worn my sneakers when working under my car. When I went to stand up I scraped my big toe on the pavement and scratched up the finish. I tried fixing it by putting some clear over it. That worked until I noticed this morning that it now has the pattern of the stitching from the sheets(I guess it wasn't totally dry). I know I should just take it off that toe and start over. However, it may look worse than it does now. One day maybe, I may be able to apply nail polish and have it look as good as my nail techs application. I could never wear polish on my nails and have it last more than a few hours. It amazes me how women are able to do things with out ruining their manicures. I wonder how long it must take to retrain your brain not do things in a way the will mess it up. Hats off to all you nail polish Divas!
Happy Mothers Day!

Yep, you need to wear shoes when you are working in situations that can mess up your pedicure. A good topcoat also helps to protect the polish, but it only goes so far.
ReplyDeleteI knew better, I was wearing sneakers when I started. I had to go to sears to buy a 30mm socket and didn't put the sneakers back on when I got home.
ReplyDelete30mm socket? Sounds serious. What were you doing?
ReplyDeleteReplacing the drivers side CV Joint assemble, The spindal nut is huge.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I had to replace the left side wheel hub on my wife's car a year or so ago. Very close to the same operation. Painting nails is easier.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I am still better at pulling engines than painting my toes!
