I did my daughters nails for Halloween |
Far from perfect but good enough for Halloween at work! |
As I have mentioned in the past, I grew tired of my nails peeling and tearing as soon as they started to grow. I had an acrylic overlay applied to my nails. She didn't put any nail tips on to add length. I wanted my nail to grow out at a natural pace. This plan has worked well for me. First it has prevented any breakage and I have not had any problems. Secondly, it has allowed my brain to adjust to the nail actually protruding. I think it must be difficult to go from nubs to getting a full set of long nails. I am learning to alter the way I do some things. I haven't decided how far I will grow them out. I think it is more of a function of what works for me. What others think isn't much of a consideration at this point. People either don't care or think I'm gay. I am just a guy with a non traditional hobby/interest. Tomorrow is Halloween and I am wearing a Candy Corn mani to work!
This is too cute! I wanted to do something like this but I didn't have the time.
ReplyDeleteI love candy corn and I love candy corn themed manis! It's a pity New Zealanders don't really celebrate Halloween (nor does anywhere sell candy corn here) or I would have rocked a mani like this. Great job, love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it was fun doing nail art with my daughter. I did my nails and then she asked if I could do hers for school tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteCool :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Helga!
