I'm taking my daughter to her hair appointment at the local Trade Secret. She wants her hair to be three different colors. She has a picture of the style on her phone to show the person doing her hair. I'll post a picture later when we get home. I can't believe how expensive it is to have that kind of stuff done. However, it is better than the disaster we had when I tried to add highlights to her hair! This leaves me to walk around all the OPI colors in the store. I have to limit myself to only one bottle. Their selection is terrible anyway. I need to see if any stores in the mall sell China Glaze.
We spent 3-1/2 hours at Trade Secret. I had lots of time to talk with Bunny. She thinks when I get bored with my Teal the cows come home pedi, I should put silver shatter over it. Sounds like a great idea to me. I get bored with a color after a week. I am very happy with her hair. I wasn't so pleased with the price ($158, not including tip). That price did include one bottle of Alpine Snow.
I know you like blues, but you ought to try green for a change. It works well for guys.

ReplyDeleteKevin have you ever tried Manglaze polish? They just released two new green polishes two days ago. Ilf and Nawsome Sauce. They are both matte. They have great depth to there colors. If ya add a top coat it make all these sparkles magically come out.
Kevin, I have posted pictures of three green so far: BB Couture Plutus and Pipe Bender, and OPI Here Today Aragon Tomorrow. I actually do like green. I just have been trying some awesome blues. I ordered Glitter Gal Lizard Belly 3D Holo, which is a green. I will take Lizard Belly to my next Pedi if I like how it looks when I try it on my hand.
ReplyDeleteI personally am not fond of a matte finish. Here Today Aragon Tomorrow was matte and I had them put a clear top coat over it. It looked like moss growing on my toes with out it.
I forgot but I wore BB Couture Grenade on my hands. I thought it looked awesome. I even got a nce compliment from a check out lady at the grocery. I never posted a picture. I was going to take it with me when i take my aunt for her manicure on Friday. I though I'd get one too and use that color. A nice long weekend to enjoy some color.
