Even though there was drama and stress today, I was able to relax and become absorbed in polish for a while. I had visited
Dressed Up Digits picture tutorial on gradients. I used China Glaze Bohemian polishes because I've seen some wonderful gradients done with them. The third color up by the moon of the nail isn't very noticeable in the picture. I think I did a good enough job to keep this on for a day. Now I am excited that I may be able to eventually create some awesome manis. I really want to be able to submit work that lives up to the quality of work I see, day in and day out, on the Adventures in Stamping group.
Hi
ReplyDeleteLooks good.
I too have started wearing nail polish openly, Only one woman started yelling, LOOK HE IS WEARING NAIL POLISH. But other than that, no one says anything. Some Women like it, They say that is nice.
Me, I have Gel nails and love it.
Nail Polish for Everyone.
That's great. Too bad about the one ignorant women. I find ladies either say something positive or don't say anything at all. I really want to try gel just so they can grow out to the tips of my fingers. Anything longer wouldn't be practical with the amount I use my hands. There is a guy that works at the 7-11 who has nails most women would die to have. He doesn't polish them or even wear clear.(at least not to work). If mine grew like that, they would have to be polished!
DeleteI wasn't thrilled with this collection when it came out, but it looks so awesome in gradients! This one actually looks a little like a sandy beach meeting the water. Very cool. :)
ReplyDeleteI bought it just for doing gradients. Dressed up Digits has used this collection and done such wonderful things with it. I wanted to start with polishes that I know sponge good.
ReplyDeleteI love the gradient (reminds me of a sunset) and the stamping looks good to me! This is a lovely manicure.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cat, It is the first one I am not afraid to let be seen. Laurie's photos really helped me.
