Couldn't wait to get my nails on!

OPI Ink with China Glaze No Plain Jane sponged at a diagonal

I went almost two days with out my nails on. For those of you that do not know, I changed from traditional acrylic enhancements to those made by Custom Nail Solutions. Every two to three weeks I take them off and do a manicure, then I put them back on. This time I decided to give my nails and cuticles some TLC and slathered them with cuticle oil three times in the evening before bed. Since I was going to be doing some work on my car, I decided to wait until I was done and all cleaned up for the day to put them back on.

Tomorrow I have a training with other coworkers and managers. I was on the fence as what to do with my nails. I almost didn't put them back on. My nails felt so unprotected with out my CNS nail armor. I decided instead of hiding my nails, I would try and do something they would have to like. I hope the above mani fits the bill.  OPI Ink is a popular polish and the sponging was done to add a little interest. I was going to add some stamping, but I was afraid that it would be too much. Maybe I will stamp them tomorrow night to get another day out of the mani.

  1. Two days without polish? I know what you mean about your nails feeling unprotected bare. I feel like the polish isn't just cosmetic and pleasant to look at, it actually protects my nails and has a real function other than eye candy. I have China Glaze No Plain Jane too. I love it, it is so pretty and duochromes are always welcome on my hands. I love the color shift. Good for you for deciding to wear the polish even with training, just be you polish and all. If I only wore what I thought someone else would approve of I would never have ventured out of the pink polish box. Power to purple polish! (And green, and blue, and gray! Oh I love gray.)
