Father's Day with Manglaze

OPI - Ski Teal We Drop

Island Girl - Hula Girl

Island Girl -  Polynesian Heat
My aunt treated my cousin and I to a couple of days at a resort on the Kona side of the island. Since I am the guy, I got my own room. I wore Ski Teal we drop on the trip there. That evening I went down to the ABC store in the lobby and bought a few Island girl polishes. With no kids and no work, I enjoyed time to snorkel read and do my nails. I find it very relaxing polishing my nails. After returning on Saturday evening, I redid my nails with my long neglected Manglaze polishes for Father's day.

    1. I like the matte polish look too. I don't wear them often because they don't seem to last more than a day on me.

  3. I have to say thank you for this blog! My seven year old son and I enjoy painting our nails together. He paints my toes and I paint his. Tonight after his bath he very sadly asked me to remove his nail polish from his toes. Apparently some kid in his summer camp saw his toes when they went swimming and has been making fun of him. He tearfully told me he didn't want to be embarrassed this week so could I please take it off. Although we talked about how everybody is different and like different things, and that some people are not always going like what you do and you should be yourself anyway, he didn't seem convinced. I am so excited to show him your blog and your pictures of your awesome nail art! Thank you so much!

    1. I am so happy you could use my blog that way! It is peer pressure that forces so many of us to abandon things we like. If there were more parents like you, the world would be a better place.
