Uninvited!

Hello,

I bought a few polishes for myself before Christmas. BB Couture was having a sale and I bought replacements for two of my favorite polishes (Briquette and Dark Tommy) and "Uninvited", the polish shown below. It is a red that reminds me of bricks from old buildings on a college campus. The finish is a satin/matte. I am not sure how they classify it. The top picture was taken at night and the bottom the next day. As with many matte polishes I have worn, they tend to get buffed doing ordinary stuff (like sleeping) and become a little less matte. I wore it all day at work today while doing an annual maintenance on a dialysis machine. At the end of the day the polish looked as good as new. I was surprised how well it held up. In the past, most matte polishes were one and done. I never could get a second day without touching up. I am going to have to take another look at "The Ladies Formal collection" this came from. I have always had great luck with their polishes. I started with their men's line of polishes. I now pick and choose from either line. Women have no problem buying the mens polishes and I have no problem buying theirs. It is all just polish. I tried some dotting on my left hand and it was a total fail. I am redoing that hand so I can wear this awesome polish another day.

  1. Wow! That's an amazing color! You're right, it's all just polish. It is nice, I guess, that they do have a "mens" line for guys who are curious but for some reason squeemish about buying/wearing "womens" polish.

    1. It gives newbies the ability to defend their polish by saying at is a mens polish. It is a crutch until you have owned your love of polish and don't care what people think.

    1. Thanks, I have been keeping clear gel on them to add some strength. Sorry for the delay in responding, my internet has been awful. I know have DSL and it is more reliable.
