My blog is journal of my adventures in openly wearing polish and how friends, family and strangers react. Photos of the colors I have tried are included with my posts.

OPI - Yoga-Ta Get This Blue
This was a color my daughter showed me when we were at the mall on vacation. I am so glad she was with me and scoped this color out. I wasn't even looking at blues, since I already have a lot. The color is so deep and has a metallic look to it. I wish I could paint my car this color! I know i like a color when I can't stop looking at it. When I take my shoes and socks off at work to get a glimpse, I know it is a keeper. (yes, I really have done that.)

ReplyDeleteThis is such a gorgeous blue! I think I need to add this to my "must have" list.
ReplyDeleteCOOL!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHey Jim. Was just at my favorite nail polish store. You should check out the new "smoke" collection from Zoya for fall 2011. I picked up "free" an awsome almost army green. Gonna try it out with essie matte about you topcoat!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's called "dree" damn autocorrect.
ReplyDeleteI haven't found Zoya around where I live. Downside to living on an island!
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad. Def Google the collection. They are a great company with cool colors. I know ya can order them online. Ya would love the store I go to. Basically every OPI ZOYA AND ESSIE(they have other brands but those are my favs) colors ever made. All for 6.50 each!!!
ReplyDeleteProbably for the best. It limits the impulse purchases. I already have more polishes than my wife ever had!
ReplyDeleteHey Jim, Been lurking some, but haven't been posting. I like the blue, I can't wear it myself, but it does look good. Right now I am wearing an understated OPI "Fiji Weejee Fawn".
ReplyDeleteKevin, good to hear from you. Is that color on your toes? It would be a good color for nails if you didnt want them to be too noticeable. I am into blue lately. Trying to decide which teal for september ovarian cancer awareness teel toes.
ReplyDeleteYes, I like it because it is understated, but it has a really nice sheen, kind of like pearl.
ReplyDeleteNext time I'm at the mall, I'll have to check it out in person.
