Last minute stamping!

I tried one of my new China Glaze polishes "Deviantly Daring" last night before bed. When I woke up in the morning with the sun out, I found out how loud of a color it is. I didn't feel comfortable wearing such a bright manicure to work. I decided to stamp over it with black using BundleMonster BM-313. It had two effects. First, it did make it less blinding. Secondly, it made it a whole lot more interesting. I am not sure what people think about a guy wearing polish and nail art, but I am having a lot of fun with it. I'm sure a lot of people think he must be gay for doing it. It has nothing to do with which sex I am attracted to. In fact it is the "girly" stuff about women that I am attracted to. As long as I enjoy polish and nail art, I am going to keep doing it. I like what I like, regardless of what others think.

Now I have to get back to practicing gradients. They add a lot of interest to a manicure.

  1. I really like the stamping on that color. I want to try stamping but I can't spend the extra money right now. Maybe I can get my wife to want to try it. Good job! I think it looks great.

  2. Thanks, it is pretty chead to get started. $30 would get you a set of plates and a stamper.

  3. I think it looks really great. And I don't think we should care so much about what other people think. If you like to wear nail polish, you just totally should. Thumbs up :)

  5. Great choice of stamp to go with this shifting blue--it looks like an awesome tortoise shell! And if it matters, I don't think it looks "girly" at all, just confident and cool. :D

  6. Rock stars have been wearing polish for years, and none of my gay guy friends uses polish although a couple of them wear make up. Pooh on what judgers think.
