BB Couture - Grey Matter

Daylight, 2 coats no topcoat

Daylight, 2 coats no topcoat

This my fourth installment of the BB Couture Shades of Grey collection. This is a shimmery Grey called "Grey Matter". Given the amount of shimmer in it, I was surprised I had no problem with streaking. After the second coat it looked great. It needs a top coat if you want a good shine. It has a slight textured feeling to it. I am an admitted fidget, so I like things to be smooth or I tend to mess with them.

Just for the record, I bought this collection at full price, so I really do like this collection and I will get good use out of them. Of the four I've tried so far, Briquette is my favorite. I think I'll wear this to work tomorrow and then maybe have some fun stamping over it. I also want to see if I can do a grey gradient with these polishes. Below is a purple gradient I did yesterday.

  1. Not a big fan of the greys but I really love the purple gradient. I really need to get an air brush and learn how to do that. The purple would look great on my toes.

  2. You don't need an airbrush Drew. I used a makeup sponge to make the gradient. Air brushes are awesome, but most gradients you see on nails are done using the sponging method.
