World Turtle Day 2015, pond manicure |
Memorial day mani. |
My daughter made me aware that today was World Turtle day. I did this turtle pond manicure for a stamping group challenge. I added it to a photo I took where I swim near my work. At first I wasn't going to do a Memorial day mani. My father served in WWII and was at Omaha beach. He was wounded 3 times during the war. They didn't think he would walk again, but he proved them wrong. I think he would appreciate nail art, since he was an artist.
Thank you to all the men and women who have served, currently serve, and those that lost their lives for our country.
Very cool! I love it when people prove the doctors wrong, though I think sometimes they say stuff like that just so people will.
ReplyDeleteThey are so afraid of giving false hope that they often give overly pessimistic prognoses. It is what you do with that info that varies between people. Some work hard to prove the doctors wrong and other accept their fate or give up. .
DeleteBlack Sheep Lacquer is really an amazing brand ! She is bunny approved! That way they can’t start a fight or make fun of you when you throw it back on them like that. I really am not sure about Sally Hansen for cuticle care, do you work with papers all day at work? That will steal moisturize out of your hands really fast!
ReplyDeleteLook for a cuticle oil or cream that has shea butter in it.
This is such a nice and unique art in accordance with the memorial day celebrations. It is a good idea to celebrate our freedom from head to toe. Happy Memorial day to all!
