I resisted temptation.

As I have mentioned, I go for a pedicure every other week. On the off weeks I still go to the salon to take my Aunt for her manicure.  I was so tempted to either get a manicure or a color change on my toes. I get bored looking at the same color for two long weeks. I start wanting to change colors before one week is up. Two things stop me; the first is that I never can do as awesome of a job as they do. If I do it and it looks like crap, I am cursing my self for ruining what I had. When I had Teal the Cows Come Home, I got bored after a week and put silver shatter over it and I didn't like it. I made sure I took it off before my next pedicure. I didn't want her to see how bad I messed up her perfect work.  The second thing that stops me is the money. I really shouldn't spend the extra money.

So, as I sit here this evening, the acetone is calling me to take off the green. BB Couture Bandito is calling me. I even had it in my pocket when I took my aunt to the salon. I am going to wait until daytime because the lighting in our house sucks. The compact fluorescent bulbs really distort the colors.

  1. I get bored after a day! I leave pedis on until they start to chip though. It's so hard to reach your toes!

  4. I know your right Carrie. It depends on the polish. I have less trouble with OPI than BB Couture. OPI's brush is bigger and covers more of the nail with each stroke. I have less trouble covering the nail quick enough; with smaller brushes I take too long and The polish doesn't go on evenly. My big toe is so big I would be better with a paint roller! All in all, I am way better than I was six months ago.

  5. Love the brush on OPI!!! China Glaze has a nice big brush and great formula as well.

  6. So, I took off the green and changed colors. It actually came out pretty good. I'll stick a picture in the original post above. However, I stuck with an OPI color to make it easier.
