.After taking off Avon Wet Cement, I decided for something less conservative. Purple is a color I have never worn on my nails before. I plan on wearing it out tomorrow. I wish I was better at doing my nails. They look so good when I had a mani/pedi. Then they looked mirror perfect like the toes. This reminds me of trying to put walls up in my house. I would hate looking at them because I would see every defect. I am a lot better than I was back in January. Maybe by next December I will be a pro at it. Practice makes perfect.
I am not a perfect polisher but I use a small paintbrush and pure acetone and swipe the edges around my cuticles- and it makes it look perfect!
ReplyDeleteIve been looking for a brush similar to the one they use at the nail salon. Thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteThe Seche Ultra-V has protected the polish through a day of work. I am a big fan of that top coat.
ReplyDeleteOne bit of advice I got was to put on some lotion pre-polish and it helps to remove some of the overwash.
ReplyDeleteGood idea, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI get my brush from the drugstore - I forget which one, but it's a small angled eyeliner brush, that's what I use for cleanup! Also, if you do get some on your skin, you can dab clear top coat over it and it should peel off - I will sometimes do that while I'm taking a shower. But you've got the right idea, it's just practice.
