Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a long time. My life has bee kind of crazy. I have had problems with getting in the Christmas spirit. Living in Hawaii removes all the normal holiday atmosphere. The first two pictures are my first attempts of the season to get some Xmas spirit. The last picture is my current pedicure. I didn't do it myself, I would pass out bending over long enough to do that kind of striping!  I requested the red and white stripes with the big toes being red and rest of the toes white. It reminded me of wrapping paper.

It has been a little over a year since I started wearing my nails polished almost 100% of the time. What I have learned over this time is that people are a lot more open minded than I thought. I may get an odd look from a guy here and there, but never anything beyond that. The responses from women have been very positive. There a few places I go where they go out of their way to see what I am wearing. A funny thing happened the other day. I have been sick all week and my nails are naked and look like crap. I walk in to the hardware store and the lady behind the counter says to the other cashier "He is a manicurist and always has the nicest designs". I hid my hands so and said I wasn't wearing anything today. I need to make sure my nails look good next time I go in there!

If I don't post again before Christmas, I hope everyone has enjoys the holidays.

  1. Ha ha ha I know what you mean, people expect your nails to be "done" all the time and they look to see what's new. I feel like I let people down if I only paint 1 color or don't do any art, or like you go out with naked nails sometimes. I love the pedi on your toes!

  2. Love your pedi! Here in Texas it doesn't much feel like Christmas either. ;)
